Mount Sinai is collaborating with Interfaith Partners of the Chesapeake (IPC) to educate the community on the importance of good environmental stewardship. Mount Sinai was the successful recipient of a grant with the Chesapeake Bay Trust and is now working to make a difference in our environment. The first phase was conducted in September with a workshop presentation by IPC, followed by Mount Sinai working with youth from Thomas Stone High School and STEAM Onward to stencil storm water drains. Everyone had a great time and learned the importance of saving our waterways. For more information about this and future initiatives, contact our church office at 301-645-9299.
